Christian healing, as taught by Jesus Christ, is operative and available to all earnest seekers today and those who seek spiritual help.

Whether the resolution you seek is healing of sickness or of sin, of the need for emotional or financial peace, for housing, employment, companionship or joy, Christian Science teaches people how to pray with increasing effectiveness to resolve all these issues, and more. Whatever difficulties you may seem to be facing, learning more of God’s limitless love for you will help.

This church has held services in Vancouver for more than 100 years. We are here to bless our community by sharing a clear understanding of the healing Christ through our church services, Sunday school, Christian Science Reading Room, and other activities. We are a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. As stated by Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer and founder of Christian Science, this is “a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing.” Christian Science is deeply rooted in the Bible and we use the King James version primarily in our Bible Lessons. If you are seeking to know more about Christian healing and an approach to spirituality, come and explore with us.

Our services are held in our church on Sundays and our mid-week meeting is held on Wednesdays. The church is located at 204 East Fourth Plain Boulevard, Vancouver.  Our regular Sunday service is at 10:00 a.m.  Sunday School is from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Wednesday meetings are at 7:00 p.m.  Childcare for very young children is provided both Sundays and Wednesdays.

We invite you to attend our church in person on both days.  

On Wednesday nights, you have the option to phone in to join those attending our meeting at the church in person. To connect by phone, call (267) 807-9601 then enter PIN 639291#  Calling in is not available for the Sunday service.  To listen in to a Sunday service, click on the Spiritual Resources section of the Links page, then find the website of The Mother Church and information listed there.

 

The regular hours of the Reading Room, which is located on the west end of the church building, are from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
